Who would benefit from a borehole?

Since 2003 the Environment Agency has allowed the abstraction of up to 20,000 litres of water per day without the need to obtain a special licence. A lot of homeowners and business think they are not allowed to have their own supply and have to pay their Local Authority. This is now not the case and you could have your own boreholes for less than you think. So, by having your own borehole you can have access to virtually unlimited amounts of water all year round. This is even more beneficial when you have a business that is dependant on water. For example garden centres, livery yards etc and even landscaped gardens in a residential property.
Having water well drilled professionally could seem like a costly endeavor but don't forget that you will benefit immediatley from the abstraction of water. It is also a long-term investment and should be built in a manner so that it stands tough for many years.
