Drilling Rigs for sale
We are a small engineering plant based in Hertfordshire very close to Luton airport. We manufacture all types of drilling rigs cable percussion, rotary, core sampling, these can come in a variety of forms from small single wheel trailer mounted rigs to the slightly heavier twin wheel drilling rigs, as the deeper the drilling rig has to drill the bigger than heavier the rig will need to be.
We can build a drilling rig for you on caterpillartracks these can be made small enough to be able to get through a domestic dooor way and could be used for underpinning houses or for geothermal boreholes in the back of a property which only has a small access route.
We can also build the water wells drilling rigs to your specification or even on a truck supplied by you, mostly we source used trucks from the military as we can get these on four wheel drive or six wheel drive they usually come with very low mileage and are properly maintained and serviced throughout their lives.
The Truck body is taken off and the chassis is strengthened before putting back on to take the weight of the deck engine and drilling mast which can weigh up to four tonne. We can get these trucks from the MOD in left hand drive or right hand drive as some countries in Africa have restrictions on what you can import into them.
Most of our drilling rigs go to Africa because the need for fresh clean drinking water is so important.
We have demonstration days at our factory so our customers can see a rig working and have a go on the controls and get used to the rigs they are buying.

always involved with water well drilling solutions with drilling
rigs always being manufactured and mostly shipped to Africa where
boreholes are needed for a safe supply of fresh drinking water.

Drilling Rigs For Africa
Our aim is to build first class drilling rigs that
will be able to drill 20 to 50 boreholes for water wells every year.
The base vehicles are all ex Ministry of Defence 4x4 wheel drive trucks,
Bedfords Mj's, Leyland Daf's, or Bedford Tm 6 wheel drive all low
mileage and maintained by our government. We manufacture the mast deck
engines and hydraulics to suit, we strengthen the body and fit hydraulic
jacks for stability.
