Drilling Rigs UK
All our drilling rigs are built here in the factory in Hertfordshire UK. We are a small family unit trading on quality and price and have been involved in the manufacture of drilling rigs for the past 30 years.
We have extensive knowledge of all aspects of the drilling process. We have a reliable back up service and can supply all spare parts for our manufactured drilling rigs, we can even take in an upgrade drilling rigs that have been built by other manufactures and upgrade them to work properly.
Most of our drilling rigs are built for the export market but we can manufacture rigs for the UK and also sometimes we can supply a used drilling rig this also can be reconditioned as needed
If you can find a better service and product please let us know.

Directional Drilling
Many people have never heard of or understand what directional drilling is all about. Directional drilling is the practice of drilling non-vertical wells. It was originally invented in the 1920s to increase oil production, then in the early 1990s, the technology of it was improved and was used for utility installation. Directional bores have been installed for pipelines carrying things such as oil, natural gas, petrochemicals, water and sewage. Besides crossing under highways, railroads, airport runways and areas with a lot of building congestion, installations have been made under rivers and waterways as well.
There are three, very specific and crucial stages to go through when installing directional borings. The first stage is called Pilot Hole. This is the horizontal drilling that it installed under and across an obstacle. An electronic transmitter sends a signal to the surface which is read by the receiver. This then transmits the information back to the drill rig operator. Once the driller gets the 'go-ahead,' he can then steer the bore path in any direction that he needs to do the horizontal drillingPre-ream is the second stage. Once the pilot hole is complete, the hole must be enlarged to be able to safely install the product lines. This is accomplished by "pre-reaming" the hole, which means that a reamer is pulled back and rotated while drilling fluid is pumped through to remove certain solids.
The third stage is known as Pullback.
Once the drilled hole is enlarged, the conduit can be pulled through it. A reamer then gets attached to the product by a swivel. This allows the reamer to turn without turning the product with it. The drilling rig then goes to work by rotating and pulling on the drill string while circulating all the fluids. The act of directional drilling is growing far and wide.
