GENERAL FEATURES OF OUR DRILLING RIGS
ROTARY HEADS
- Simple gearbox with oil immersed hardened gears
- Field serviceable and replaceable hydraulic motors
- 3” mud swivel with replaceable seals
- Taper roller bearings top and bottom with large safety margin to thrusts.
CARRIAGE
- Head can pivot to both sides of mast for drill rod loading
- Head wings out of mast for winch operation on hole centre
- Nylatron sliders do not damage mast structure
- Nylatron sliders quick and cheap to replace
MAST
- Simple robust steel mast made from rectangular box section mast
- Internal cylinder chrome rod is hidden from drilling muck
- Vertical drilling over rear of chassis with mechanical locks
HOIST/FEED
- Feed speed and pressure individually controlled to suit drillingconditions
- SSsimple wire rope and sheave system driven by single hydraulic cylinder
- Minimum safety factor on system 3.5: 1
CONTROLS
- Finger tip direct acting levers positioned on rear corner
- 5 pressure gauges for operation guidance and system testing
- Ddirection of movement of lever indicates motion i.e. down for down
- Speed control of engine controls oil flow and speed of operation
- Sud pump has independent speed control to suit velocity
HYDRAULICS
- Smple gear type pumps
