I am always asked what are the different types of renewable energy and water conservation? Here's my answer............
The main renewable energy systems that most people relate to are solar panels for hot water systems, wind turbines and photovoltaic panels that create electricity from the suns rays. However, the latest forms of sustainable energy now include Water Wells, Boreholes and Rainwater Harvesting.
Boreholes and Water Wells. The water abstracted could supply water to your outlets in the same way as a traditional rain water harvesting system. However, this is with the added advantage of not running dry in the summer months when you need water most. This is a sustainable form of water harvesting which we call natural rainwater harvesting.
Ground Source Heat Pumps and Geothermal Systems. Using a drilling rig a drilling contractor will be able to drill a borehole for geothermal loops to install ground source heat pumps which will provide efficient heat to your home whenever required.
